Brave New World by Aldo Huxley explores a future world where everything is perfect. Due to genetic engineering, brain washing and test tube reproduction the people of this future world appear to be happy in their genetically modified society. However Huxley’s protagonist and central character, Bernard Marx longs to be free and able to live by his own rules and choices. Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ shows Bernard’s journey for freedom but is there any way to escape this ‘Brave New World’?
